Police Policy on Electronic Security Systems
The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) meet from time
to time to set Policy for the 43 Police Forces of England and Wales as a whole,
and they have set a united Policy for the country as a whole relating to
Security Systems, the latest version of which is known as DD243/2004, and a copy

For an installation Company such as ourselves to install a
Police Compliant monitored INTRUDER ALARM, we have to become compliant with this
policy and apply to each individual Force in whose area we wish to work to be
allowed to install such systems within their area. Currently we have sought and
obtained compliancy in the following Police Areas:
